Women’s Ministries is a department in the worldwide Seventh Day Adventist Church, which aims to address the spiritual, emotional, physical and social needs of women in the church. The department seeks to empower and nurture women to fulfill their God given potential by addressing challenges commonly faced by women which include health, poverty, leadership and illiteracy among others.
At Harare City Centre Church women in different categories have embraced the ministry and this has been evidenced by the tremendous support they give to any women ministries initiatives at local, conference, union and division level.
This year the East Zimbabwe Conference women’s ministries is running with the theme “Women Helping Women as we wait for the Master” let’s lend a hand to someone and help make a difference. In line with this initiative the HCCC Women’s Ministries department launched a Helping hand clothes and groceries basket.
Some programmes to watch out for in 2019 include:
- Women’s Day of Prayer
- Cooking Classes
- Women’s Ministries Emphasis Day
- End It Now Day
- Union Congress
- ……. And so much more, everyone is welcome to be part of this vibrant group?
