The venue we used carries around 30 people and in attendance the first Sunday were 19 ladies 1 non Adventist visitor and 1 Adventist visitor. Class started at 10am and ended at 1 pm. Mrs Rwodzi took us through a theoretical session on the importance of eating healthy and the responsibility we have as wives in our homes to ensure that our families are well fed with meals that nourish their bodies. After the hour long session we then got into the demonstrative session where she showed us how to make vegetarian healthy pie, banana soya bread, mushrooms, petties and apple plus oats bread to name a few.
The following Sunday she taught dishes that can be prepared for Sabbath that are healthy, nutritious and easy to make with the right combinations. The pictures below will indicate the dishes that were prepared and what they comprised of. Many ladies felt that these lessons were very helpful and some signed up to have longer sessions where more demonstrations can be done.
