HCCC International Women’s Day of Prayer

HCCC International Women’s Day of Prayer

Our Sabbath School was conducted by our YAWM who centred on our theme for the day walking With Jesus; they focused on bible characters that walked with God. After Sabbath School we got into our Sabbath School Quarterly lesson for the week Satan and his allies. The lesson was followed by a season of prayer in twos with our prayer partners for the year. After the season of prayer we got into a song service before Divine service. For our Divine service Faith Chitsato was our pulpit manager, our chorister was Evelyn Maposa, first prayer came from Mrs X Jele and our word of life came from Emily Maposa.

We went for lunch and came back and continued with more prayer sessions and an interactive lesson on forgiveness from Mrs Mafanuke. In the afternoon the youth had their separate lesson with Dr Chimbandi. The children also had their separate adventurers’ lessons. After the lessons we came together as a group and prayed for our nation, its leaders and our spiritual life as women.

In attendance were 126 ladies from HCCC and 4 non Adventist visitors. Ladies were happy with this program and implored that more of such should be arranged to allow them time away as ladies to pray.
